The Twins are the only two known/explored galaxies known to society. The Twins are connected by the Origin. The current names for the galaxies are Castor and Pollux. The original names were Balek and Kaultan, but the first explorer to travel to Kaultan from Balek, Fanir Kerrah, nicknamed them "The Twins" which stuck among explorers. Eventually they were officially named Castor and Pollux after the twins, Gemini, in ancient Earth mythology.
